Spicejet, one of the major domestic as well as international airlines of the nation, has a broad connecting network with a fleet of 41 Boeing 737 planes, and 24 regional jets Bombardier Q400s. But, much to the customers’ unpleasant disbelief, they will not be able to neither book tickets for the airlines nor carry out any modification in their preexisting journey plans between 2300 hours Tuesday, 27 November, 2018 to the following next day till 0930 hours owing to a system upgrade as per the latest revelations.
But, despite this, the airline’s check-in systems will still be working during the shutdown period and the operations will also continue to function just normally.
“No PNR bookings/modifications can be done during this period on our website, mobile app, airports or through call centre,” SpiceJet office informed the customers via email.
The Gurugram-based airline operates an 446 daily flights to 57 destinations – 49 domestic and 8 international.
